This customer came in with the goal to lift his vehicle to fit his 22” Weld Racing wheels. The vehicle was lifted previously with spacers and after inspection we realized that the control arms and bushings were not reusable. This customer took the opportunity to upgrade those components and lift the vehicle properly with a quality suspension capable of handling the frequent beach trips, but keep the ride close to how it rode from the factory. We chose to use Total Chaos for the control arms, giving the customer not only the strongest control arm on the market, but the ability to rebuild them when the bushings or joints become worn from frequent beach and salt exposure. For suspension the customer went with Toytec 2.5 Aluma Series shocks, this not only gives a similar ride quality to what came from the factory but also gives the customer peace of mind with an all-aluminum shock body that rust will not affect the new setup as it had on the previous. This Toytec kit, paired with Icon Overland 3” rear springs gave a full 3” lift to the vehicle and provided plenty of room to fit the 22” Weld Racing wheels which we wrapped in Nitto Terra Grappler G2 35x12.5R22.
