This customer came in with a stock 2018 Toyota Tundra and was not wanting to lose ride quality of the factory Toyota suspension. However, he wanted the vehicle lifted a little bit and the rear end strengthened to support added weight. We outfitted the vehicle with a Classic Bedslide to allow the customer access to items at the front of the bed without having to crawl into the bed. The customer also wanted additional storage for holding larger and longer items but did not want to drill into the roof of the cab. We mounted a Frontrunner Outfitters roof rack on the bed cap to give this customer the ability to mount his Kayak, Bike and other accessories that were too large to fit in the covered bed. The suspension was upgraded with Toytec’s 2.5 Aluma series and SPC control arms to support the added weight of the components added in the rear and retain the factory-like ride quality. For steps this customer chose to go with Hefty Fabworks Rock Sliders over traditional steps for the added protection and strength the rock sliders provide. These sliders stick out past the body of the vehicle and will prevent other drivers from opening their doors into this customer's doors.
