2026 Texas Raptor Run | A New Home for the Largest Raptor Gathering
The dust has settled, the tires have cooled off, and another incredible year of Texas Raptor Run is officially in the books. For 2026, the event entered a new chapter with its move to the stunning landscapes of Cibolo Creek Ranch near Marfa, Texas, and the result was nothing short of spectacular.
Offroad Alliance was proud to return as an official sponsor for the fifth consecutive year, continuing a partnership that began in 2022 and supporting one of the events that helped shape the Ford Raptor community we know today.
This wasn't just another off-road event. For many owners, Texas Raptor Run is where friendships are built, new drivers gain confidence behind the wheel, and some of the best memories in the Raptor community are made.

The Event That Started It All
Founded in 2012, Texas Raptor Run was created to give Ford Raptor owners a safe and organized place to experience what these trucks were built to do. Over the years, it has grown into one of the largest and longest-running Raptor events anywhere in the country and has played a major role in building the Raptor community as a whole.

This year saw approximately 130 to 150 trucks make the trip to West Texas, representing nearly every corner of the performance truck market. The lineup included:
- First Generation Ford Raptors
- Second Generation Ford Raptors
- Third Generation Ford Raptors
- Ranger Raptors
- Bronco Raptors
- Standard Broncos
- Modified F-150s
- Ram TRXs
- Ram RHOs
- Built Chevrolet trucks
- Toyota off-road builds
No matter the badge on the grille, the common theme was a passion for off-road driving and adventure.
Cibolo Creek Ranch Was the Perfect New Home
For years, Texas Raptor Run was known for its East Texas roots. In 2026, the move to Cibolo Creek Ranch brought an entirely different experience. Instead of humidity and summer heat, attendees were welcomed with cool mornings, comfortable afternoons, and breathtaking scenery in every direction.

The mountains surrounding the ranch created some of the most beautiful views ever seen at a Texas Raptor Run event. Drivers found themselves surrounded by rugged desert terrain, winding mountain trails, and wide-open landscapes that felt more like Baja than Texas.
The ranch itself spans approximately 30,000 acres and provided virtually endless opportunities for exploration and adventure throughout the weekend. Adding to the experience was the wildlife found throughout the property. Throughout the weekend attendees spotted:
- Horses
- Cattle
- Rams
- Alpaca
- Various desert wildlife
It was an environment unlike anything previous Texas Raptor Runs had offered.

Four Courses, Endless Seat Time
One of the biggest highlights of TRR has always been the amount of driving available, and 2026 may have offered more seat time than any event before it. By Saturday, attendees had access to four completely different driving experiences.
The Main Course
The signature loop stretched roughly 30 miles and showcased nearly every type of terrain West Texas had to offer. Drivers experienced:
- Scenic mountain views
- Fast flowing sections
- Technical crawls
- Washes and ravines
- Rocky climbs
- Wide open desert sections
Every lap felt different depending on speed, lighting conditions, and driver confidence.
The Fast Track
For those wanting to experience the high-speed desert performance the Raptor was designed around, the two-mile fast course quickly became a favorite.
Mostly flat with sweeping corners and plenty of room to stretch the legs of these trucks, this course allowed drivers to safely experience triple-digit speeds in a controlled environment.

The Jump Course
The three-mile jump section delivered exactly what everyone wanted. Technical turns, flowing terrain, and several opportunities to get all four tires off the ground made this section one of the most photographed areas of the ranch.
If there was ever a place to understand why Ford built the Raptor the way they did, this was it.

Technical Trail & Runway Finale
The fourth course offered an entirely different challenge. This five-mile technical trail featured:
- Deep silt sections
- Tight turns
- Whoops
- Technical transitions
- Reduced visibility dust clouds
At the end of the trail waited one final surprise—a private runway over a mile long where attendees had the opportunity to line up and drag race their trucks down the runway.
There aren't many places where you can spend the morning crawling through technical terrain and finish the afternoon drag racing across a private airstrip.
Luxury Meets Off-Road Adventure
One of the biggest additions for 2026 was the introduction of the VIP experience. VIP guests stayed directly on property at the historic Cibolo Creek Ranch Resort, enjoying luxury accommodations alongside all-inclusive dining throughout the event. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were prepared daily, allowing guests to spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying the experience.

VIP guests also had access to exclusive experiences including:
- Private guided excursions
- Historic forts located on the ranch
- Mountain-top overlooks
- Areas of the property not accessible to general attendees
- Exclusive gatherings and events
The combination of luxury lodging and world-class off-road driving created an experience unlike any previous Raptor event.
Industry Support Continues to Grow
Texas Raptor Run continues to attract some of the biggest names in the off-road industry. This year's vendor and sponsor lineup included companies such as:
- Foutz Motorsports
- COBB Tuning
- SVC Offroad
- SwarfWorks
- ADD Offroad
- Carbon Shocks
- Factory Speed Co
- Rogers Ford
- TSW Offroad
- TMX Performance
- Goosetuned Performance
- Offroad Alliance
The ability to speak directly with manufacturers, builders, tuners, and suspension experts continues to be one of the biggest advantages of attending events like TRR.
BBQ, Charity, and Community
While the driving is incredible, many attendees will tell you the community is what keeps them coming back. Saturday night featured the traditional Texas Raptor Run BBQ dinner where everyone gathered to share stories from the trails and relive the day's adventures.

The event also hosted its annual charity raffle, a tradition that continues to raise significant funds each year in the fight against childhood cancer. The raffle has become one of the most meaningful parts of the weekend and serves as a reminder that this community consistently shows up to support causes bigger than off-roading itself.
Until Next Year
Texas Raptor Run 2026 proved that the move to West Texas was exactly the right decision. Better weather, incredible scenery, more driving opportunities, luxury accommodations, and one of the strongest communities in the off-road world combined to create an unforgettable experience.
Offroad Alliance is incredibly proud to have supported this event for the past five years and we're already looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.
If you've never attended Texas Raptor Run before, put it on your list. Pictures and videos simply don't do it justice.
