21-24 Bronco Start/Stop Eliminator

The Auto Start/Stop system is simple. It automatically shuts off the engine when the vehicle is at rest (but not in park) to cut fuel use and eliminate idle emissions. It then restarts the engine automatically when the driver lifts off the brake to get going again.

Note: this is sometimes confused with the Auto Engine Idle Shutdown (AEIS) feature on many vehicles. The idle shutdown system shuts off a vehicle that is idling while parked after 30 minutes.

Installation

Remove the trim below and to the left side of the audio panel. Remove the two 7mm screws and pull out audio and HVAC control panel. Insert Start Stop Eliminator in-line with electrical connector.
