2005-2015 Tacoma Rear Bumper

The ShrockWorks 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma rear bumper was designed in 3D CAD and is CNC cut and formed for a perfect fit, every time. The main shell of the bumper is made from 3/16" HRP&O plate steel with 1/4" plate mounting brackets. We then use 1" plate for the recovery tabs to keep the shackle from flopping around. The recovery tabs are slid through from the inside and then welded front and back to avoid pulling through. On the inside, they're welded to the frame brackets which means you're pulling on the frame instead of the face of the bumper. The best part is weeks of design work resulted in a bumper that actually weighs less than the factory bumper and receiver hitch by 8 lbs. That means you're getting a way stronger bumper, with a built in receiver hitch, in a tighter, high clearance package. The bumper is then finished in show quality, semi-gloss black powder coat.
