Where to Purchase a SmartCap?

With so many different vehicle makes and models, sometimes understanding what fits your vehicle can be a challenge. Please read on to understand the differences between SmartCap models and how to build your truck bed better with the SmartCap EVO line of truck caps and SmartCap Components.
SmartCap hit North America for the first time during their 2019 SEMA show launch. While the brand itself has been around for years Globally, this was the first time we got to not only see, but experience these groundbreaking bed caps in person!
SmartCap has skyrocketed in popularity here within the States, offering a variety of caps for numerous late model trucks along with highly functional bolt-on accessories known as Components. But, with all the varying sizes, part numbers and SmartCap specific vernacular, we've assembled this run down to help you better understand what works for your truck!
First, it's important to note that all SmartCap models are vehicle-specific and have been designed to be a perfect fit to your truck's bed. Upon ordering a SmartCap EVO truck cap, you will be asked to select your truck's year, make, model and bed length from a dropdown menu to ensure the correct model is shipped to your home.
EVO Sport -
- Constructed from stainless steel and forged in South Africa
- These are offered in one color only, matte black
- TheEVO Sportfeatures large gullwing style windows on each side with a smaller sliding window (doggy window!) embedded in the glass.
- Each cap includes integrated roof rails, also commonly referred to as t-slot channels, for attaching Load Bars and Racks
- Positive pressure air vent on the roof to help pressurize the interior space and keep dust/debris out
- Sliding cab side pass-through window
- Designed to support up to 330lbs while moving and 770lbs while parked
EVOa Adventure -
- Constructed from stainless steel and forged in South Africa
- These are offered in one color only, matte black
- They feature large gullwing style double walled stainless steel doors with integrated interior Molle panels offering a variety of gear mounting options
- Each cap includes integrated roof rails or also commonly referred to as t-slot channels
- Positive pressure air vent on the roof to help pressurize the interior space and keep dust/debris out
- Sliding cab side pass-through window
- Designed to support up to 330lbs while moving and 770lbs while parked
EVOc Commercial -
- Constructed from stainless steel and forged in South Africa
- These are offered in one color only, OE white
- They feature large gullwing style double walled stainless steel doors
- Each cap includes integrated roof rails or also commonly referred to as t-slot channels
- Positive pressure air vent on the roof to help pressurize the interior space and keep dust/debris out
- Solid Glass cab-side window for added security
- Designed to support up to 330lbs while moving and 770lbs while parked

SmartCap Components
Available for all SmartCap models, it's important to understand the various fitment options and how to best outfit your bed for maximum usability. Some Components are side-specific, some are bed-length specific, and they are all truck model specific.
For ease of ordering, Components have been segmented into groups: Mid-Size, Full-Size and Gladiator. Mid-Size components should be ordered for all mid-size pickup truck applications such as the Tacoma, Colorado and Ranger. Full-Size refers to half-ton and above pickup models such as the F-150, Silverado and Ram. The Components listed to for the Gladiator are exclusively for the Jeep Gladiator SmartCap applications.
Rack Components such as the Platform Rack and Drop Rack are also bed-length dependent to provide a perfect fit to your cap. If you're not sure which bed length you have at any point during the SmartCap or Component ordering process, feel free to reach us by phone, chat or email.
Storage Bins (Full Bin or Half):
SmartCap bins offer simple bolt-in cargo and gear organization for your truck cap. The full bins offer nearly 6.3 cubic feet of storage and include Molle panels for secure gear mounting applications. Need more interior space? The bins install and are removed quickly allowing you plenty of storage options or the ability to quickly free up interior space.
