The Rear Storage Box Bike Rack Adapter is designed for van owners who already have our Rear Storage Box and want a reliable solution for mounting bikes on the rear doors. This aluminum topper mounts directly to the Rear Storage Box or Small Rear Storage Box, providing a purpose-built platform for up to two bike rack trays.

Built from solid aluminum with a powder coat finish and all stainless steel hardware, this is a straightforward addition to your setup that handles carrying bikes without touching your hitch. It keeps your rear end setup clean and your tow capacity available.

This bike rack adapter is made for use with our Rear Storage Box or Small Rear Storage Box mounted on one of our rear door platforms, and pairs well with the Kuat Piston SR Bike Rack. It installs to the storage box in less than 30 minutes. Drilling into the storage box is required and sealing washers are provided.

• Built for the Rear Storage Box: This adapter is built for our use with our Rear Storage Box or Small Rear Storage Box, turning the top of the box into a sturdy mounting point that can easily handle two bikes on the trail.
• Compatible with all FVC Rear Door Platforms: Easily mount your Kuat bike rack to your storage box on any of our rear door platforms. Our Sprinter, Transit, and Promaster rear door platforms are incredibly strong and handle mounting bikes with no issues.
• Mounts 2 Kuat Piston SR Bike Racks: This adapter can mount up to two Kuat Piston SR bike racks. Please note an additional hardware pack is necessary to mount the second rack.
